Banfield Pet Hospital in Timonium, MD is seeking a Shift Lead to perform CSC and paraprofessional duties while providing leadership across shifts. The role supports Practice Manager and COS to ensure effective communication with clients and staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating staff, educating clients about wellness plans, handling client documentation, and maintaining a productive, compliant hospital environment. Weekend/evening availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or veterinary technician certification preferred.
• Two years healthcare/veterinary experience preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead as CSC and/or veterinary assistant/technician duties while supporting leadership across shifts.
• Recruit clients, route patients, and ensure high-quality client care and productivity.
• Educate clients about wellness plans and hospital services.
• Handle client documentation, invoicing, and scheduling.
• Support Practice Manager in staff coordination and efficiency.
