UrgentVet - Gastonia is seeking a Full-Time Shift Lead to provide outstanding patient care, team leadership, and client service in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art urgent care clinic.

The Shift Lead will perform duties of a Senior Veterinary Assistant or Technician, coordinate staff across shifts, ensure clear communication with clients and hospital leadership, and help maximize productivity and profitability while lifting up to 40 lbs.

Formación

• Two years of experience in healthcare, veterinary care, or service industry.
• Medical terminology knowledge required.
• Associate degree or vet tech certification preferred.
• Six months of prior management experience preferred.
• Animal handling including restraint, sample collection, and monitoring.
• Clinical skills including phlebotomy, catheter placement, laboratory analysis, and drug calculation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily shifts: patient care, client service, and team supervision.
• Coordinate paraprofessional staff and ensure productive operations.
• Communicate with clients, hospital leadership, and Support Center teams.
• Delegate cases to veterinary assistants and resolve bottlenecks in medical operations.
• Assist with client resolution decisions and invoice adjustments.
• Support inventory management and equipment maintenance.
