AmeriVet in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced veterinary receptionist leader to guide the front desk while actively staying involved in reception duties.

You will lead by example, coach team members, manage daily appointment scheduling, handle client concerns with professionalism, and coordinate communication between the reception and medical teams to keep the hospital running smoothly. Qualifications

• Veterinary experience is required.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology and patient records.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the veterinary reception team while actively working reception.
• Serve as a role model for excellent client service and professional communication.
• Manage and coordinate daily appointment scheduling and help maintain an efficient doctor and hospital schedule.
• Delegate daily tasks and responsibilities among reception team members.
• Train, onboard, and coach new and existing reception staff.
• Provide ongoing guidance and coaching to improve staff performance and client service.
• Assist receptionists with questions, challenging situations, and workflow issues.
