Ocotillo Animal Clinic and Pet Resort in Chandler, Arizona seeks a friendly Receptionist to join our fast-paced, full-service hospital serving dogs and cats since 1999.

You will check in/out clients, schedule appointments, answer phones, dispense prescription items per Vet instructions, and keep client records in Avimark. Must communicate clearly, stay organized, multitask, and show empathy toward pets and clients.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.
• Experience with Avimark is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and accept direction on tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; good judgment under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Check In and Check out Clients.
• Dispense Prescription items per Vet instructions.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendar.
• Answer phones and assist with scheduling.
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner.
• Use Avimark to document and update client records.
• Maintain a positive attitude with clients, pets and teammates.
