BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist!

Are you an excellent customer service professional? Do you offer guidance, comfort, and support? Are you looking for an opportunity to work with some of the greatest veterinary medicine professionals?

Shifts: Day, (10:00AM - 10:00PM), Thursday-Saturday

At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are essential to the success of our hospital. You will be the first BluePearl Associate clients see, ensuring each client receives the care and attention they need. You must be able to remain calm and compassionate in emotionally challenging situations.

As a Veterinary Client Service Representative:

1. Greet and make friendly eye contact with every client upon entry, offering warm and professional acknowledgment.
2. Maintain a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
3. Be a compassionate listener.
4. Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the telephone to ensure clients understand.
5. Assess each client's needs and the pet's condition upon arrival.
6. Determine whether an emergency is 'stat' or 'standard.'
7. Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
8. Confirm all appointments in advance, providing accurate preparation information to clients.
9. Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients compassionately and discreetly.
10. Serve as a liaison during handling of pet remains, ensuring a complete, accurate, and compassionate process.
