Shifts: Overnight, (6:00PM - 6:00AM), Thursday-Saturday
At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are vital to the success of our hospital. You will be the first BluePearl Associate that clients see, ensuring each client receives the care and attention they need. You must be able to remain calm and compassionate in emotionally challenging situations.
As a Veterinary Client Service Representative:
- Greet clients warmly and make friendly eye contact upon entry.
- Maintain a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
- Be a compassionate listener.
- Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly both in person and on the phone.
- Assess clients' needs and the pet's condition upon arrival.
- Determine emergency status (stat vs. standard).
- Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
- Confirm appointments and provide clients with accurate preparation instructions.
- Offer emotional support and resources to grieving clients discreetly and compassionately.
- Handle pet remains with care, ensuring a complete and compassionate process.
