BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist!

Are you an excellent customer service professional? Do you offer guidance, comfort, and support? Are you looking for an opportunity to work with some of the greatest veterinary medicine professionals?

Shifts: Day, (10:00AM - 10:00PM), Thursday-Saturday

At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are essential to the success of our hospital. You will be the first BluePearl Associate that clients see, ensuring each client receives the care and attention they need. You must be able to remain calm and compassionate in emotionally challenging situations.

As a Veterinary Client Service Representative:

1. Greet clients warmly and make friendly eye contact upon entry.
2. Maintain a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
3. Be a compassionate listener.
4. Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the phone.
5. Assess clients' needs and the pets' conditions upon arrival.
6. Determine the urgency of emergency arrivals.
7. Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
8. Confirm all appointments in advance and provide accurate preparation information to clients.
9. Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients discreetly and compassionately.
10. Serve as a liaison during handling of pet remains, ensuring a complete and respectful process.
