BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist!

Shifts: Day, (10:00AM - 10:00PM), Thursday-Saturday

At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are essential to the success of our hospital. You will be the first BluePearl Associate clients see, ensuring each client receives the care and attention they need. You must be able to remain calm and compassionate in emotionally challenging situations.

As a Veterinary Client Service Representative:

1. Greet clients warmly and make friendly eye contact at each entry.
2. Maintain a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
3. Be a compassionate listener.
4. Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the phone.
5. Assess clients' needs and their pets' conditions upon arrival.
6. Determine emergency status ("stat" vs "standard").
7. Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
8. Confirm appointments and provide clients with accurate preparation instructions.
9. Offer emotional support and resources to grieving clients discreetly and compassionately.
10. Coordinate pet remains handling with care and compassion.
