BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring for an Overnight Veterinary Receptionist!

Shifts: Overnight, (6:00PM - 6:00AM), Thursday-Saturday

At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are essential to the success of our hospital. In this role, you are the first point of contact for clients and will ensure they receive the care and attention they need. You must be able to remain calm and compassionate, especially in emotionally challenging situations.

As a Veterinary Client Service Representative:

1. Greet clients warmly and make friendly eye contact upon entry.
2. Maintain a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
3. Listen compassionately to clients.
4. Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly both in person and on the phone to ensure understanding.
5. Assess clients' needs and pet conditions upon arrival.
6. Determine if an emergency is a "stat" or "standard" emergency.
7. Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
8. Confirm appointments and provide clients with accurate preparation information.
9. Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients discreetly and compassionately.
10. Assist with handling pet remains, ensuring a complete and respectful process.
