BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring for an Overnight Veterinary Receptionist!

Are you an excellent customer service professional? Do you offer guidance, comfort, and support? Are you looking for an opportunity to work with some of the greatest veterinary medicine professionals?

Shifts: Overnight, (6:00PM - 6:00AM), Thursday-Saturday

At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are vital to the success of our hospital. You will be the first BluePearl Associate that clients see, ensuring each client receives the care and attention they need. You must be able to remain calm and compassionate in emotionally challenging situations.

As a Veterinary Client Service Representative:

1. Greet clients warmly and make friendly eye contact upon entry.
2. Maintain a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
3. Be a compassionate listener.
4. Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the phone to ensure client understanding.
5. Assess clients' needs and the pet's condition upon arrival.
6. Determine if an emergency is 'stat' or 'standard'.
7. Respond to non-patient calls or visitors, directing them to the appropriate team member.
8. Confirm appointments in advance and provide clients with accurate preparation information.
9. Offer emotional support and resources to grieving clients discreetly and compassionately.
10. Act as a liaison during the handling of pet remains, ensuring a complete and compassionate process.
