Animal Care Associates is a full-service animal hospital and boarding facility serving pets in Charleston, WV since 1984. We set a standard for excellent veterinary care, accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. Our services include wellness exams, surgery, diagnostics, dentistry, radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, and more.

We treat a variety of animals beyond cats and dogs, including birds, exotic pets, and pocket pets like rabbits, hamsters, and ferrets.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Maintain the hospital reception area, greet clients and patients, answer questions, triage concerns, manage calls and emails, schedule appointments, check clients in and out, and process payments. Provide friendly, compassionate support to clients, handling various medical situations with discretion.

Must withstand odors and noises, and may be exposed to animal waste, bites, scratches, and contagious diseases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year veterinary reception experience preferred
• Compassionate, calm, team player, multi-tasker, strong communicator
• Highly organized with computer skills
• Self-motivated with a desire to grow professionally
