Job summary

Coastal Sunrise Animal Hospital in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Practice Manager to lead essential business functions and partner with the MDVM to drive profitability and growth. The role focuses on operations, HR, marketing, strategic planning, and IT management to deliver exceptional patient care and client service.

You will manage teams, ensure high client satisfaction, and coordinate with Heartland resources as needed.

Qualifications

• Full-time, on-site; weekend availability as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in applied science, veterinary technology, or business a plus; Practice Manager Certification a plus.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift more with assistance.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety techniques including use of PPE.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office applications.
• Strong communication and client service experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages practice financial performance and drives revenue growth.
• Manages practice expenses (pharmacy, supplies, labor, facilities).
• Oversees inventory management and supplier relationships.
• Partners with MDVM to ensure accurate pricing and payroll compliance.
• Reviews performance reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensures compliant medical records and high-quality client experience.
• Collaborates with marketing to develop strategy and community engagement.
• Ensures staffing coverage and handles employee relations as needed.
