Job summary

Heartland Veterinary Partners is seeking a Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations, finances, and client service across a veterinary practice. You will collaborate with the Managing Doctor to optimize profitability, grow the business, and maintain a high-quality patient experience.

You will oversee essential functions, including payroll, inventory, pricing, reporting, and compliance, while driving staff performance and engagement within an on-site, full-time role in Florida.

Qualifications

• Full-time, on-site; weekends possible.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree is a plus.
• Practice Manager Certification a plus.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office.
• Strong communication and client service experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages practice financial performance and drives revenue growth.
• Manages expenses including pharmacy, supplies, labor, and facilities.
• Ensures appropriate inventory management.
• Partners with MDVM to ensure accurate pricing.
• Contributes to annual budget planning.
• Creates and analyzes performance reports for improvement.
• Ensures compliant payroll and records.
• Maintains medical records system compliant with standards.
• Collaborates with Heartland Marketing on strategy and community initiatives.
• Oversees staff scheduling and vendor relationships.
