Job summary

North Oatlands Animal Hospital in Leesburg, VA, seeks a full-time Practice Manager to lead veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. You will drive clinic operations, personnel management, and continuous improvement to deliver outstanding care and client service.

The role requires veterinary operations experience, a business degree or CVPM, and comfort working on the floor in a busy setting. ImproMed proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a veterinary clinic or hospital.
• Business degree or CVPM preferred.
• Willing to work on the floor part-time (back and front).
• Experience HR functions: SOPs, evaluations, disciplinary action.
• Able to learn and use ImproMed PMS quickly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on personnel management (hiring, training, development).
• Manage clinic operations including scheduling and inventory management.
• Guide and coach colleagues toward continuous improvement and client experience.
• Balance the needs of the business and staff with initiative.
