Job summary

North Oatlands Animal Hospital in Leesburg, VA is seeking a full-time Veterinary Practice Manager to lead our team of veterinarians, technicians and support staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional patient care.

You will oversee personnel management, scheduling and inventory, drive continuous improvement, and balance client service with team wellbeing. A business degree or CVPM is preferred, and experience with HR functions and SOPs is required; ImproMed proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a veterinary clinic.
• Business degree or CVPM preferred.
• Comfortable working part-time on the floor, both in back and up front.
• Experience executing HR functions, including SOPs, evaluations, and disciplinary action.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, with a primary focus on personnel management, including hiring, training, and development.
• Manage clinic operations, including scheduling and inventory management.
• Guide and coach colleagues toward continuous improvement, maintaining a strong commitment to the client experience.

Veterinary Practice Manager

North Oatlands Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to provide leadership and structure to our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. With a solid understanding of the veterinary industry, and prior experience overseeing the clinics operations, you'll be responsible for leading with clarity, managing multiple priorities, and contributing directly to the ongoing excellence of the clinic and the well-being of the animals we care for.

What to Expect

Salary: $70K-$105K dependent on skills and experience

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
