Job summary

North Oatland Animal Hospital in Leesburg, VA is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to provide leadership and structure to our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. You will oversee day-to-day operations and drive excellence in client service and animal welfare.

Ideal candidates have veterinary management experience, a business degree or CVPM, and comfort working on the floor. Proficiency with practice management systems like ImproMed and HR processes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience managing veterinary operations.
• Business degree or CVPM preferred.
• Comfortable working on the floor, both front and back.
• Experience executing HR functions including SOPs, evaluations, and disciplinary action.
• Ability to quickly learn and use practice management systems like ImproMed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on personnel management, including hiring, training, and development.
• Manage clinic operations including scheduling and inventory management.
• Guide and coach staff toward continuous improvement and client-experience excellence.
• Balance business needs with staff welfare and morale.

With a solid understanding of the veterinary industry, and prior experience overseeing the clinics operations, you'll be responsible for leading with clarity, managing multiple priorities, and contributing directly to the ongoing excellence of the clinic and the well-being of the animals we care for.

What to Expect

Salary: $70K-$105K dependent on skills and experience

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
