PetVet Care Centers is seeking a Hospital Manager to lead a professional hospital support team and partner with veterinarians to drive efficient operations and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• At least five years of direct office management experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience may be considered.
• Excellent customer service in a courteous, prompt, and efficient manner.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and clinic software.
• Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be flexible to work some weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work around sick animals and hazardous materials; physical demands may include lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Some tasks may involve extended periods at a keyboard and/or standing/walking.
• Duties may include climbing, bending, or kneeling as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff across hospital support departments to meet labor goals.
• Hires, trains, and orients office and clinic staff; handles paperwork for new hires.
• Reviews performance, delivers feedback, and discusses issues with Regional Manager weekly.
• Conducts timely performance appraisals and documents incidents.
• Manages schedules and coordinates with the DVM; monitors overtime and attendance.
• Oversees budgeting, procurement, and facility maintenance; ensures asset control.
• Processes vendor invoices, ensures invoice accuracy, and collects W9s; supports local accounting.
• Reviews revenue and labor metrics with leadership on a weekly basis and helps meet targets.
