Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Hospital Operations Manager to lead the veterinary hospital team and partner with store teams to deliver high-quality patient care and exceptional client experience.

You will oversee scheduling, training, inventory, invoicing, and compliance while monitoring physician schedules, payroll, and profitability to drive growth and ensure a smooth operation across the hospital.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years previous experience in a veterinary practice or 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions, delegate tasks and drive results with hospital partners.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor in stressful situations.
• Telephone etiquette and basic computer skills.
• Team player willing to adapt to continual change.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinic management tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital paraprofessionals to drive operational excellence and patient care.
• Coordinate with veterinarians to foster a positive culture and cohesive team.
• Oversee scheduling, inventory control, invoicing, patient records and payments.
• Manage hiring, training, performance reviews and coaching.
• Create and maintain doctor schedules with guidance as needed.
• Review P&L monthly and partner to increase revenue and meet targets.
• Collaborate with store team to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Provide backup front desk support and maintain compliance with policies.
