Petco is seeking a Hospital Operations Manager to lead daily hospital operations, partnering with veterinarians and store teams to ensure exceptional patient care and a superior client experience. You will manage scheduling, inventory, and financial targets while maintaining compliance and a collaborative culture.

This role requires experience in veterinary settings or leadership, strong communication, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years previous experience in a veterinary practice or 2+ years in a leadership role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to make decisions, delegate tasks and drive results with hospital partners
• Compassionate and professional attitude in emotional, stressful situations

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital paraprofessionals to drive operational excellence and high-quality patient care
• Coordinate with veterinarians to maintain a positive culture and cohesive team
• Manage scheduling, inventory, invoicing, patient records and accounts receivable
• Oversee hiring, training, performance reviews and coaching with HR partners
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain a clean hospital environment
• Interface with store teams to deliver a seamless client and patient experience
