Lakefield Veterinary Group is seeking a Hospital Manager to lead daily operations of our veterinary hospital, ensuring exceptional client experiences while supporting a collaborative team. You’ll balance hospitality, client communications, and management duties to enable veterinarians to focus on patient care.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of management experience in a related field and strong skills in leadership, communication, organization, and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of management experience in customer service, healthcare, hospitality, or veterinary setting.
• Experience in client service or veterinary client relations preferred.
• Compassionate, emotionally intelligent leader who remains calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-centered approach.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with practice management systems, payment processing, and digital tools.
• Ability to collaborate while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in clients with warmth and professionalism.
• Build trust and provide reassurance for pet parents during visits.
• Guide clients through visits including rooming, consultations, and checkout.
• Communicate clearly about processes, services, timelines, and costs.
• Send SMS updates and coordinate scheduling to keep visits running smoothly.
• Monitor client flow to minimize wait times and maintain a calm front-of-house.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming client-facing space.
• Oversee hospital operations, staff scheduling, payroll, inventory, and compliance.
