Job summary

Lakefield Veterinary Group is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Administrator for a Central Phoenix general practice. This leadership role oversees operations, finances, HR, and staff to ensure high-quality animal healthcare.

You will partner with medical leadership to drive profitability, maintain compliance, and foster a collaborative culture while aligning with community outreach and marketing efforts. The position requires strong people management, strategic planning, and operational execution

Qualifications

• AA or Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in overall operations, financial and facilities management and/or Human Resources.
• Two years of hospital management experience in veterinary or human health industry; leadership of large teams preferred.

• Manage financial performance, develop strategies to achieve profitability, and report to hospital leadership.
• Track metrics like revenue, invoices, and labor costs; prepare reports on performance.
• Coach and develop staff; conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Support staff growth and training; participate in recruitment and onboarding.
• Build community relationships and market the practice; develop marketing programs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and safety regulations.
