Job summary

Hackettstown Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients. The role requires friendly, professional communication, strong organization, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will greet clients, manage appointments, answer calls and emails, process payments, and support hospital staff. 15-20 hours per week, including Saturdays, with opportunities for growth within AmeriVet.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office and computer operations.
• Ability to learn scheduling and record-keeping software.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and visitors warmly and professionally.
• Direct clients to appropriate areas and schedule appointments.
• Answer phone calls and emails; relay messages to staff.
• Manage appointments using the hospital's scheduling system.
• Assist with cashiering and basic administrative tasks; maintain records.
