Hartfield Animal Hospital is hiring a friendly Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. You’ll be the first and last person clients interact with, creating a welcoming, organized experience while supporting a busy hospital.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional half-day needs, competitive pay based on experience, and benefits including health coverage, retirement matching, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary reception or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and compassionate approach with clients.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets and help create a positive experience from the moment they arrive
• Answer incoming calls and assist clients with questions, scheduling, and general hospital information
• Schedule and confirm appointments while helping maintain an organized daily flow
• Check clients and patients in and out efficiently
• Collect and process payments and maintain accurate client account information
• Update client and patient information and maintain accurate records
• Communicate with veterinarians and clinical team members to help coordinate patient care
