Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary front desk or assistant role.
• Familiarity with veterinary practice management software preferred (Cornerstone, Avimark, ImproMed, eVetPractice, or ezyVet).
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and vaccination protocols.
• Proficiency in appointment scheduling, multi-line phone management, medical records handling, and payments processing.
• Ability to manage high-volume client relations with composure and accuracy.
• Physically capable of handling and restraining animals of varying sizes.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients, verify/update medical records, and confirm appointment details.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system and respond to inquiries about scheduling, refills, and records.
• Process payments, post charges, and schedule follow-ups; explain invoices clearly.
