You will schedule appointments, answer calls, handle payments and invoicing, maintain patient records, and relay discharge and care instructions to clients, while coordinating with veterinarians and techs in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in veterinary, medical, or customer service receptionist role preferred.
• Genuine love for animals and compassion for pet owners in stressful situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and basic computer skills; experience with veterinary practice management software a plus.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive and stress-free check-in experience.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the clinic's calendar efficiently.
• Answer multi-line phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to veterinary staff.
• Process payments, manage invoicing, and handle client accounts accurately.
• Maintain and update electronic medical records and patient files.
• Communicate discharge instructions, follow-up care, and medication information to pet owners.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure smooth patient flow.
