Burr Ridge Veterinary in Darien, IL is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist to warmly greet clients and their pets, manage the check-in experience, and keep the front desk running smoothly.

You will schedule appointments, answer calls, handle payments and invoicing, maintain patient records, and relay discharge and care instructions to clients, while coordinating with veterinarians and techs in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in veterinary, medical, or customer service receptionist role preferred.
• Genuine love for animals and compassion for pet owners in stressful situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and basic computer skills; experience with veterinary practice management software a plus.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinic environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player.
