Arroyo Vista Veterinary Hospital in Moorpark, CA, is seeking a Full-Time Client Service Representative / Receptionist to join our front desk team. You will be the welcoming face for clients and patients, handling calls, scheduling, payments, and communications in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of veterinary hospital experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask while staying organized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital.
• Strong computer, phone, email, and text communication skills.
• Experience handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs with or without assistance.
• Possible exposure to animal odors, noise, waste, and cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Answering multiple phone lines professionally and efficiently
• Scheduling appointments and helping manage daily hospital flow
• Greeting clients and checking patients in and out
• Processing payments, refill requests, insurance claims, and client communications
• Responding to emails and text messages promptly and professionally
• Differentiating between routine and urgent/emergency situations
• Communicating clearly with doctors, technicians, assistants, and clients
• Maintaining accurate records and entering information into the computer system
• Opening and closing the office independently when needed
