Arroyo Vista Veterinary Hospital in Moorpark, CA is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join a fast-paced, team-focused practice. The role emphasizes patient care, diagnostics, client communication and support across all shifts.
The ideal candidate brings prior vet tech/assistant experience, strong time management, and a collaborative attitude. RVT credentials are welcome but not required for seasoned candidates, with competitive hourly pay and full-time
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience.
- Strong technical skills and confidence in a busy GP environment.
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize throughout the day.
- Experience with patient care, treatments, diagnostics, and client communication.
- Surgical and anesthesia experience is a plus.
- Willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Positive, dependable, and collaborative attitude.
- RVT credentials welcomed but not required for experienced candidates.
Responsibilities
- Provide veterinary technician/assistant duties in a busy GP setting.
- Perform patient care, treatments, diagnostics, and client communication.
- Assist in surgeries and anesthesia as needed.
