Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a friendly receptionist for our Sacramento-area hospital. You will manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, maintain medical records, schedule appointments, and handle transactions while upholding compassionate care.

The ideal candidate has veterinary experience, excellent communication, strong organization, and the ability to stay calm under pressure; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Veterinary experience is required.
• Available to work two Saturdays a month.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and reflect our compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to ensure optimal care.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: be a calming presence for clients and treat each pet with care.
