Midtown Animal Hospital in Sacramento seeks an experienced Receptionist to join our established veterinary team. You will manage a busy front desk, greet clients warmly, and coordinate appointments while handling payments and basic medical record tasks.

You will educate clients on preventive care and hospital services, supporting our goal of compassionate, comprehensive veterinary care for every pet. This role offers a stable, growth-oriented environment in a busy midtown practice.

Qualifications

• A passion for providing excellent customer service and a love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset and ability to work independently or with guidance.
• Veterinary experience is required.
• Available to work two Saturdays a month.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system and greet clients.
• Ensure seamless care coordination: maintain accurate medical records and schedule appointments.
• Handle financial transactions and keep the hospital running smoothly.
• Educate clients on preventive care and hospital services to support pet health.
