Job summary

Mission Pet Health seeks a friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and pets, managing a multi-line phone system, scheduling appointments, and handling transactions with care.

You’ll contribute to compassionate care by maintaining accurate medical records, coordinating patient flow, and educating clients about preventive services, while staying organized in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Strong communication and judgment under pressure.
• Excellent organization and multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with ability to work independently when needed.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred; flexibility to work some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventive care and hospital services to ensure optimal care.
• Emb ody Compassion: be a calming presence, show empathy and respect to clients and their pets.
