Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary receptionist.

• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and vaccines helpful.
• Proficiency in appointment scheduling, multi-line phone handling, and payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients, verify and update medical records, and confirm appointments.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system and inquiries about scheduling, refills, vaccines, and information.
• Process payments, post charges, and schedule follow-ups at checkout.
• Communicate medical information and care instructions, including end-of-life discussions when needed.
• Maintain EMR/PIMS accuracy and timely data entry.
