Job summary

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets in Toledo, OH is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative to be the first contact for clients and their pets. You will greet clients, manage appointments, assist with medical records, discuss payment options, and maintain a welcoming lobby while delivering compassionate service.

Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred; strong communication and data-entry skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent client service skills and phone etiquette.
• Attention to detail, self-motivated and able to work successfully as part of a team and autonomously.
• Sense of urgency within a fast-paced environment.
• Some flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to anticipate needs inter- and intra-departmentally.
• General computer competency required including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Previous experience in a veterinary setting (preferred).
