Job summary

GoodVets is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) to be the first and last impression for clients. You will manage calls, appointments, check-ins/outs, and payments, while upholding warmth, professionalism, and empathy. The role blends front-desk duties with essential support to the hospital team.

You’ll work in a fast-paced veterinary setting, interacting with pet owners and families, and contributing to a welcoming experience for every visit.

Qualifications

• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Veterinary or medical front-desk experience preferred, not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with Windows-based systems and practice management software (or willingness to learn).
• Positive, team-first attitude and a passion for creating a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service with warmth and professionalism.
• Greet clients and manage check-in/check-out efficiently.
• Answer and triage phone calls with a multi-line system.
• Schedule appointments and follow-ups with the clinical team.
• Process payments and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Monitor patient and client flow throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area.
• Collaborate with doctors, technicians and managers for smooth operations.
• Provide compassionate support to stressed clients.
• Assist with light administrative and cleaning duties as needed.
