Demanes Animal Hospital in Peoria, IL is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our veterinary front desk team. You will be the first and last impression for clients, bridging communication between pet owners and our veterinary staff.

This role emphasizes friendly, efficient front desk operations, appointment scheduling, and handling financial transactions while supporting a compassionate team that treats animals with care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of veterinary clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome visitors and assess needs.
• Handle phone calls and emails and determine urgency.
• Process client check-ins and check-outs, review invoices.
• Communicate visit expectations to clients and assist with pet management.
• Process and document financial transactions accurately.
• Schedule appointments based on clinic needs and patient requirements.
• Manage emergencies and walk-ins; respond to online inquiries.
• Maintain lobby and exam room cleanliness and stock areas.
• Recommend products available to clients.
