Job summary

Court Street Animal Hospital is seeking an exceptional Client Service Representative to join our front desk team. You will be the first point of contact for clients, scheduling visits and answering questions with empathy and professionalism.

This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy veterinary setting. As a CSR, you will assist with client education, billing, and coordinating with the veterinary team to ensure pets receive timely care.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.
• Flexible schedule including some weekend and holiday shifts.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and follow direction.
• Good judgment and ability to manage stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments by calling clients.
• Maintain client and pet records and documentation.
• Provide instructions, information, and invoices; dispense prescription items per the veterinarian's instructions.
• Use hospital computer systems to document medical records and communicate with clients and teammates.
• Manage hospital finances by handling client transactions and following cash handling procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Educate clients on preventative care and hospital services.
• Maintain a positive attitude with clients, pets, and team members.
