Job summary

CanyonVet New Braunfels is seeking a friendly Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our full-time front desk team in New Braunfels, TX. You will manage appointments, check in/out, greet clients and patients, and process payments while delivering exceptional service.

Ideal candidates have veterinary experience, strong communication, and comfortable with multi-line phones and practice management software.

Qualifications

• Must have veterinary medicine experience.
• Excellent customer service and clear, professional communication.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Collaborative, dependable team player.
• Comfortable answering and routing calls on multi-line phone systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiar with standard office equipment (printers, scanners, copiers).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones; greet clients and patients.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate visit details.
• Support the check-in and check-out process to ensure a smooth client experience.
• Accurately enter client information, collect payments, and provide receipts.
• Update patient accounts as needed.
• Maintain an individual cash box and balance it at the end of each shift.
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service in a positive, professional manner.
• Keep the reception area clean and organized.
• Stock pet food, retail items, and office supplies.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
