Thrive Pet Healthcare seeks a Veterinary Client Service Representative at CanyonVet New Braunfels in New Braunfels, TX. This full-time role supports front desk operations, appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out, and client communication to deliver an outstanding client experience.

You will manage multi-line phones, payments, and practice management software, while maintaining a welcoming reception and accurate patient accounts. Prior veterinary experience is needed.

• Able to manage appointment scheduling and multi-line phones.
• Comfortable handling payments and giving receipts.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones; greet clients and patients.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate visit details.
• Support check-in and check-out to ensure a smooth client experience.
• Enter client information accurately, collect payments, and provide receipts.
• Update patient accounts as needed.
• Maintain an orderly reception area and stock supplies.
• Balance cash box and reconcile at shift end.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

About You

You are a compassionate and organized Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)/Veterinary Receptionist with strong customer service, front desk, and client communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary hospital. You're comfortable managing appointment scheduling, multi-line phones, check in/check out, payment processing, and practice management software while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Your Experience & Skills

• Must have veterinary medicine experience
• Excellent customer service and clear, professional communication
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay organized
• Collaborative, dependable team player
• Comfortable answering and routing calls on multi-line phone systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Familiar with standard office equipment (printers, scanners, copiers)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Job responsibilities:

• Answer phones; greet clients and patients
• Schedule appointments and coordinate visit details
• Support the check-in and check-out process to ensure a smooth client experience
• Accurately enter client information, collect payments, and provide receipts
• Update patient accounts as needed
• Maintain an individual cash box and balance it at the end of each shift
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service in a positive, professional manner
• Keep the reception area clean and organized
• Stock pet food, retail items, and office supplies
• Complete additional tasks as assigned
