Pet Specialists of Austin is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in Austin. You’ll be the welcoming face at the front desk handling phones, scheduling, check-in/check-out, and payments.

You should have at least 1 year of veterinary client service experience and be comfortable learning practice management software. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required, and you’ll thrive in a fast-paced team

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital or related client service setting.
• Strong customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Comfortable answering multi-line phones, scheduling appointments, and processing payments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by attentively addressing the needs of clients and their pets.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments and specialty procedures, set reminders, manage patient and client flow, check patients in and out, and address basic client concerns.
• Facilitate clear communication between clients and the medical team as needed.
• Accurately enter and maintain client and patient information in the computer system, ensuring medical records are up to date.
• Process client payments and invoices, and follow up on outstanding or missing payments.
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby, waiting area, and workspace.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
