Acoaxet Veterinary Clinic is seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our busy general practice team in Westport, Massachusetts. As the first point of contact for clients and patients, you will help create a positive experience and keep the hospital running smoothly each day.

Responsibilities include welcoming clients and pets, scheduling appointments, answering calls and emails, checking in and out, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records in

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of experience in a veterinary practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and pets with exceptional customer service.
• Scheduling appointments and managing the daily appointment flow.
• Answering phone calls, emails, and client inquiries.
• Checking patients in and out for appointments.
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
• Entering and updating client and patient information in our practice management system.
• Keeping the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Assisting with administrative tasks and supporting the veterinary team as needed.
• Escalating complex client concerns to management when appropriate.
