Petco in Needham Heights, MA seeks a Hospital Concierge for Vetco Total Care to deliver exceptional client service. You will be the first and last point of contact, guiding clients and pets, managing appointments, and ensuring a smooth hospital flow.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, handling calls, coordinating schedules, and supporting staff to maintain a calm, welcoming environment focused on patient care. Prior veterinary or customer-facing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of experience in veterinary practice or customer-facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate, sympathetic and professional under stress.
• Strong telephone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer practice phone and route calls appropriately.
• Maintain hospital appointment calendar and online bookings.
• Greet visitors and notify staff; manage wait times during peak periods.
• Support training of new staff and share knowledge as required.
• Keep waiting area clean and stocked with materials.
• Confirm appointments by client preference the prior day.
• Provide backup support to technical staff when needed.
