VEG is seeking a Nursing Manager to lead a veterinary nursing team within a 24/7 emergency environment. You will empower your team, foster a culture of care and excellence, and align with hospital leadership to deliver outstanding patient care.

You will guide nurse development, performance standards, and education programs while cultivating a positive, learning-focused workplace for VEGgies.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary nurse or technologist in the practice state.
• 5+ years in a clinical veterinary nursing role, emergency experience preferred.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day flow for nursing team with tools and support for success.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, productivity, hiring, onboarding and offboarding.
• Address patient care issues and team dynamics with empathy and clarity.
• Partner with hospital leadership to align on goals and hospital flow.
• Lead with VEG values and foster learning through mentorship and development pathways.
• Ensure licensure, performance standards, and education programs are upheld.
