VEG is seeking a Nursing Manager to lead a busy veterinary nursing team and to build a culture where caregivers are empowered, connected, and proud of the work they do. You’ll bridge process and purpose to ensure exceptional patient care and drive continuous improvement across the department.

You will mentor staff, oversee scheduling, onboarding, and licensure while upholding VEG values of openness, togetherness, and heroic helping.

Qualifikationen

• CVT/RVT/LVMT credential in the state of practice is required; AVMA‑accredited program preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in a clinical veterinary nursing role, with emergency experience preferred.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong communication and people skills.

• Lead day-to-day nursing operations and ensure team has tools and support.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, productivity, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Address patient care issues with empathy and clarity.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to align on goals and flow.
• Drive medical excellence via feedback from doctors.
• Implement VEG values and promote learning and development.
• Maintain licensure and education programs across the team.
• Conduct 1:1s, check-ins, and mentorship for career growth.
