Job summary

Montville Veterinary Group in Montville, NJ is seeking a friendly, people-oriented receptionist to join our busy small animal hospital. Prior veterinary experience is welcome but not required; we value a positive attitude and teamwork.

Full- or part-time schedules available, with some weekend shifts. You will answer calls, schedule appointments, process payments, review invoices, and help maintain medical records, while keeping the clinic clean and odor-free.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, cheerful and helpful attitude when interacting with clients.
• Answer incoming telephone calls using proper telephone etiquette.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Accurately process payments and able to review invoices with clients.
• Assist with keeping the hospital clean and clear of odors.
• Take complete phone messages and prescription requests.
• Filing charts and assist with maintaining complete medical records.
