Garden State Veterinary Services is hiring Veterinary Client Services - Front Desk to support our busy hospital. You will greet clients, check them in and out, schedule appointments, take payments, and handle high-volume phone lines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong veterinary experience or client service background is preferred. The role requires empathy, clear communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and staff in a high-quality veterinary practice in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a client service role. Veterinary hospital experience is preferred.
• Strong customer background preferred
• Excellent communication skills are expected as you will often act as a liaison between the clients and the clinical staff
• Ability to answer multiple phone lines
• Data entry and attention to detail
• Comfort with taking deposits and discussing financial questions with clients
• Empathy and compassion for our clients
• Ability to be discreet and professional when appropriate
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
• Positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment
• Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn and have fun!

Responsibilities

• Greet clients entering the hospital and check them in/out
• Book appointments and manage scheduling for multiple specialists
• Take payments and process deposits when needed
• Answer busy phone lines and route inquiries to the appropriate staff
• Enter data accurately and maintain client records
• Act as liaison between clients and clinical staff to ensure clear communication
