Job summary

AmeriVet is hiring a Client Service Representative for Great Road Vet Hospital in Acton, MA. The CSR will be the first contact for clients, answering calls, scheduling appointments, handling billing, and supporting the veterinary team with accurate information and friendly service.

The role requires strong phone etiquette, exceptional customer service, and attention to detail, with preferred experience in veterinary software and at least one year in customer service.

Qualifications

• Professional and friendly phone etiquette.
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to problem solve and adapt to multiple situations.
• HS Diploma or educational equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Computer efficiency.
• Very detail-oriented.
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience.
• Preferred: Knowledge of veterinary terminology.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming telephone calls and routes messages for staff.
• Handles client inquiries, schedules appointments, and explains hospital policies.
• Maintains patient records and prepares fees and charges.
• Manages cash handling and end-of-day procedures.
• Opens and closes the front desk and ensures a welcoming environment.
