Job summary

The San Francisco SPCA’s Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Client Experience Coordinator to join our team. You’ll be the front-line point of contact, greeting clients, managing check-ins, answering calls, and guiding clients through financial aspects of care with empathy and efficiency.

You will handle patient files, schedule visits, reconcile daily transactions, and promote our services while upholding our Core Values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of college education or related experience preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, and/or Cantonese is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere in hospital lobby and reception.
• Greet and check-in clients courteously.
• Answer phones, book appointments, and maintain patient files.
• Process payments for medical services, prescriptions, and retail items.
• Engage in client outreach and answer inquiries regarding finance/records.
• Schedule appointments using veterinary software.
• Maintain hospital policies and ensure cleanliness and sanitary conditions.
• Encourage client feedback via satisfaction surveys.
