Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospitals in San Francisco is seeking a Client Service Coordinator (entry level or experienced). The CSC drives the flow of clients and pets, supports the veterinary team, and creates a welcoming, efficient hospital environment.

You’ll greet clients, complete intake, enter pet histories, explain wellness plans, schedule appointments, and handle invoices and retail items while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for radiography duties.
• One year related experience with customer service preferred.
• Medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Banfield within self and team.
• Promote hospital services and route clients/pets for productivity.
• Ensure pets are seen by the team and wellness plan clients are supported.
• Provide professional, efficient service and educate clients about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventative care.
• Assist clients with documentation, pet history, and ID tagging.
• Provide instructions, invoices, dispenses prescriptions, sales, and scheduling.
• Maintain finances with accurate balances and opening/closing procedures.
