Job summary

AmeriVet's Palm Desert clinic is hiring a Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact with clients. You will manage calls, schedule appointments, and ensure accurate client and pet record keeping while delivering exceptional service.

Role requires friendly communication, composure in emergencies, cash handling, and weekend/holiday availability. Experience with veterinary EMR systems is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or educational equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Computer efficiency and attention to detail.
• Preferred: Vet EMR systems experience (Avimark, Cornerstone).
• Preferred: 1 year CSR experience.

Responsibilities

• Handles multi-line phone system and directs calls efficiently.
• Gathers and updates client and pet records accurately.
• Accepts payments and maintains cash drawer.
• Schedules appointments with vaccine, wellness, and retail priorities.
• Provides compassionate, professional client interaction.
