Job summary

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners is seeking a Client Service Representative to be the first and last point of contact for clients, managing appointments, answering calls, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and our medical team.

You’ll use our tech systems to update records, process billing and insurance, promote services, and support a welcoming environment for pets and their owners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and a compassionate, client-focused approach.
• Prior customer service experience, preferably in veterinary or healthcare settings.
• Basic tech skills with scheduling software and online communication tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Client Communication & Scheduling: Answer calls and emails promptly; schedule appointments based on client needs and vet availability; send reminders and confirmations; re-engage lapsed clients.
• Client Relations & Service: Greet clients warmly; use active listening to gather medical information; triage inquiries; demonstrate empathy; promote current promotions and campaigns.
• Managing Patient Information & Technology: Update client/patient records in the practice management system; handle billing transactions and insurance claims; maintain organized records.
• Support the Medical Team & Practice Operations: Provide post-visit instructions; keep reception area clean and organized; inform clients about services and online booking.
